know, that before you begin to market online, you must get
yourself a catchy domain name. Use something that sells itself
and will get people clicking. You will 'forward' this domain
name to the website you are sending visitors to.
Go
to www.Godaddy.com to get your domain name. If you are
unable to get your first choice of domains, do not be afraid
of hyphens! www.Perfect-Domain-Name.com gets more
people clicking because it is easy to read. Hyphens help,
they do not hurt.
Most of the methods I will describe do require you to spend
some money. However, the methods below are free or a low cost,
and effective. I use each of these methods myself to produce
traffic. Traffic = Sales.
Free Method #1 The Signature
File
First, let me describe a method that has produced a steady
stream of visitors to my site for every opportunity I have
worked over the years. It is a simple, free method that requires
just a few seconds to set up. It is called a signature file.
If you are not already using a sig file, start right now.
A sig file looks something like this:

I even use a "bounce back" email to expose my sig

simply thank them for the info they sent -- and hit send.
My sig file goes to work, making me money from the spam I

Free Method #2 Ezine Advertising
eZine ads are powerful, provided you have good ad copy and
you only run solo ads. I am going to recommend just one company

other solos and clicking on their links. You will want to
consult the Directory
of Ezines for the best places to place your paid
solo ads. Use the search tools to get the largest, targeted

Free Method #3 Social Networking
Sites
Social Networking sites account for at least 40% of my high
quality lead generation. Sites likeTwitter, Direct
Matches, Giblink, Apsense,
and Ryze are gathering places for people who work a home based business.
By going into these sites and introducing yourself and leaving
them with your sig file link, you will be targeting exactly
the people you want to work with. Another benefit of these
sites, is that your profile is often indexed by the search
engines, so if you create it like a well planned ad, you can
get FREE Google Traffic!
Free Method #4 Forum Posting
Forum posting is a wonderful and enjoyable way to get highly
targeted traffic. When you make yourself a valuable contributor
to a forum (message board), you will have a steady stream
of people clicking on your signature file. It is very
important that you do not 'spam' the boards with your offer.
People will see through it and you will not get the desired
response. Instead, find a topic that you are knowledgeable
about and start answering questions. If there isn't
already a topic that suits you - start your own thread.
Just post away, with meaningful content, and your link in
your sig file will produce highly targeted traffic.
People will want to work with YOU.

marketing is an incredibly effective free lead generation
strategy that when combined with the Social Networking sites
can really bring you a steady stream of targeted prospects.
